Description

Writing exercises in Judaeo-Arabic, likely from the early modern period based on the scribal hand. Each exercise begins with the instructor offering a phrase in model handwriting, then the student repeated the phrase. The exemplary phrase in these exercises was written with different type of ink than those of the student (perhaps even red ink, which is not common among this genre of learners' texts). MCD.
