Description

Both recto and verso appear to be receipts for the capitation tax in Fustat and Cairo for the year 630 AH = 1232/33 CE. Recto (beginning "ṣaḥha…") is for Shelomo b. Eliyyahu (Barakāt b. Abū l-Faraj). Verso (beginning "ujziya(?)…") is for Abū ʿAlī b. Bū l-Majd b. Maḥāsin, who paid 80 dirhams. Subsequently reused for private accounts in Arabic script, Judaeo-Arabic, and Greek/Coptic numerals, maybe by Shelomo himself.
