State document, internal report, in Arabic script. The sender may be Yaḥyā b. Ḥāmid(?) b. Sālim. The addressee is a qāḍī (al-ḥaḍra al-sāmiya al-qaḍāʾiyya). Dating: 12th or 13th century. At the bottom of verso, the sender reports that when he arrived in Dahrūṭ, there arrived a messenger from the sulṭān reporting that the Franks had arrived to a certain location, and therefore mustering cavalry and foot soldiers (al-fāris wa-l-rājil) from all the districts in order to battle the Franks. Needs further examination. This fragment was identified by Yusuf Umrethwala and catalogued on PGP by Yusuf Umrethwala and Alan Elbaum in August 2023.
