Description

Bill of release in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. Fragment (lower left corner). Dated: 1428 Seleucid = 1116/17 CE. Almost none of the content is preserved except the name [...] b. Yaʿaqov ha-Kohen. There are several other Ḥalfon documents involving an India trader named Tamīm b. Yaʿaqov ha-Kohen, but this document does not join with any of them and could also be referring to someone else.
