Description

Legal document in Arabic script. The bottom ~7 lines are preserved. Mentions ḍamān and daʿwa, and maybe a partnership (shirka). The parties include Mūsā b. Hilāl and Bū l-Faraj b. [...]. A partial date is preserved at the end: 6 Rabīʿ I [.]23 H. Most likely [5]23 AH = 27 February 1129 CE. However [4]23 AH or [6]23 are also possible. On verso there are lists of the Islamic months and Coptic months, and prognostications for the coming year based on the Hebrew calendar.
