  1. صلوات الله وبركاته ونوامى وافضل تحياته و[سلامه]

  2. ما اخذ لهم من طين اقطاعهم وهو ماية فدان احتوى عليها النايب 

  3. وقد خرجت الاوامر العالية باعادة سوق لاقطاعهم عوضا من سوقهم

  4. فلم يجيبهم النايب بمنية غمر الى ذلك ولا رد عليهم الطين و عبرة مال  

  5. اقطاعهم خمس الالف دينار وخمس ماية دينار وعبرة طين الناحية الف فدان

  6. وهم يسلون فى خروج الامر العالى زاده الله نفاذا باقمة سوق لاقطاعهم

  7. يوم فى الجمعة عوضا من سوقهم واعادة الطين الم(ذ)كور اليهم 

  8. او تعويضهم اقطاعا غيره من الاقطاعات الجارية فى الديوان العادلى السعيد

  9. بحكم ان هذه الناحيتين تصلح اضافة الى صقعة منية غمر لزراعة الاقصاب

  10. والعمارة للمسئول به

  11. انعاما عليهم واحسانا اليهم 

  12. وللارا العالية الفضل و السمو والقدرة ان شا الله 

  13. الحمد الله وحده وصلواته على سيدنا محمد وسلم

  1. The benedictions of God and his blessings, his increasing benefactions and most excellent greetings [and peace]
  2. ... what was assigned to them as the land of their fief, to wit one hundred faddāns, which the local judge took possession of.

  3. The exalted orders were issued for the restoration of a market to their fief in place of their (present) market,

  4. but the local judge in Minyat Ghamr did not allow them this and he did not return the land to them. The assessment of the wealth

  5. of their fief is five-thousand, five-hundred dinars and the assessment of the land of the village is one thousand faddāns.

  6. They request the issuing of an exalted ordinance, may God increase its efficacy, to establish a market for their fief

  7. one day a week in place of their (present) market and the return of the aforementioned land to them,

  8. or their compensation with another fief that is registered in the auspicious office of al-ʿAdil,

  9. on the grounds that these two villages are suitable to be annexed to the district of Minyat Ghamr, on account of the cultivation of sugar cane

  10. and the tilling of (the land) that is the subject of this petition,

  11. as a kindness and benefaction to them.

  12. To the exalted resolutions belongs eminence, sublimity and power, if God wills.

  13. Praise be to God alone and his blessings be upon our lord Muḥammad and save him.
