Description

Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashse (1100–38 CE). Dated: 1444 Seleucid = 1132/33 CE. Yakhin b. Netanʾel Rosh ha-Qehillot gives a gift to his son Abū Saʿd Netanʾel, and the latter's wife Sitt al-Milāḥ bt. Yefet promises that she will have no claim on this gift from her ketubba or otherwise. Refers to השר האדיר המיוקר but "ha-meyuqqar" is misspelled המיקור. The full date was left blank. (Information in part from Goitein's index card and CUDL.) Join: Alan Elbaum.
