Description

Multifragments of texts in Hebrew script. This shelfmark is intriguing on a material level, based on the extent of compression it must have taken for so many texts to fuse together– at least 5-6 distinct layers of paper are visible on the recto alone (some of which a very fibrous). The format gives off the appearance of cardboard, but is likely an unintentional result of compression in the geniza chamber from the collective weight of its contents. Both fragments retain printed texts on the verso, at least one of which can probably be identified through further research. MCD.
