Legal document written by Hillel b. ʿEli. Declaration made by a woman named Mawlāt on the occasion of entering the ninth month of pregnancy. It seems that she makes a gift of her entire dowry to her mother Yumn bt. Shemuʾel (aka Ismāʿīl), and her husband grants approval for this. Arrangements are made for the surviving child in case of her death in childbirth. The left side of the document is missing, so it is not entirely clear if the husband is taking it upon himself to support the child, or rather if Yumn is the one who commits to rearing the child without any obligations owed by the husband. Reused for jottings on verso in a very rudimentary hand.
