Business letter. In Judaeo-Arabic. "I had a few durayhims, hardly worth mentioning, and I tried to purchase yarn with them, but I could not. For I want someone who will buy from the silk weavers (al-qazzāzīn), and if a silk weaver comes into possession of something that cannot be believed, he will purchase it for himself." (לצעפא לא אקדר פכיף גירה מע . . . אמונה קד [[חצרת]] חרצת . . . . גזיל מא קדרת . . . לאן אלשי קליל גאיה לאי כאן ענדי דריהמאת מעזולה מן גהה םא(?) דכרהא פחרצת אן אכד בהא גזל לם אקדר לאני אנא אריד מן ישתרי מן אלקזאזין ואלקזאז אדא וקע לה שי מא יצקד ישתריה לנפסה פלא יטן בי תקציר פי חאגתה ומא ימכנני ש . . . . מן הדא שלום הדרתו יגדל . . . ושלום . . . .).
