Description
Bill of divorce, badly damaged. Dating, 16th-century or later based on the paleography. A small remnant of the date is visible in line two "[ה]עשרים ושש", which could be the latter two digits of the year [53]26, [54]26, or [55]26 AM. Location: Alexandria. The only clear portion of the husband and wife's nomenclature is the latter's first name: Reyna (ריינא). In line 3 the first two letters of the husband's name are visible (....זכ). MCD.
