Description

Letter to a dignitary ("the head of the Yeshiva of the Torah") in Judaeo-Arabic, reporting that Yosef Ibn al-Salamantī(?) came to al-muʿallim Farajallāh complaining to him about the behavior of his wife ("she is on the wrong path and has sinned..."). Dating: Likely 13th or 14th century. (Information in part from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
