Description
Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. On parchment. Fragment (lower right corner). Dated: 1448 Seleucid, which is 1136/37 CE, under the authority of Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon. Involves Abū l-Munā Tiqva (probably identical with Abū l-Munā Tiqva b. Peraḥya from Bodl. MS heb. c 13/1), his wife Sitt al-Nasab bt. MN[...], and a guardian or agent (אפטרופא) named Moshe (or possibly [...] b. Moshe). (Information in part from Goitein's index card.)
