Description

Letter to Mevorakh b. Saadya (Nagid 1094–1111) from an official (muqaddam) and cantor in a community near Alexandria, who asks the Nagid to send a replacement for him, so that his community will allow him to leave and join his family, who are enduring financial hardship.
