Description

Letter(s) in Judaeo-Arabic and Hebrew. Probably an appeal for charity. Containing praises for the addressees, specifically naming the notables (ha-sarim ha-yeqarim ha-mefoʾarim) Yeshuʿa and Moshe and pious men (ḥasidim) including Benayahu (or Penayahu?), David, Moshe, and ʿEzra. The scribe makes several errors, including יארא for ירא and עועז for עוזר. Probable (indirect) join identified by Alan Elbaum.
