List of botanicals and chemicals, such as: cloves (קרונפול), arsenic (זרניך), licorice root (ערק סוס), beleric myrobalan (בלילאג), oxtongue/borage (לשן תור), among many others. The dating is likely 15-17th-century based on the paleography. Given the scribe's practice of dropping aleph for certain words (לשן תור=לשאן תור), the word ברות on the verso could mean "gunpowder" following the Turkish "باروت". MCD.
