Description

Letter in Ladino or possibly an epistolary writing exercise. Purple ink. Dating is 18th-19th century based on the paleography. Two specific phrases point to the epistolary nature of the fragments: (T-S AS 185.210, l. 2) "kon esto te..." = second-person form of address and, more importantly, the common phrase of endearment "te beza las manos// I kiss your hands" (T-S AS 185.211, l. 5). Also contains phrases such as "kriaturas" and "del mundo" and "de korazon." MCD/ASE
