List or table ENA 3576.2Description
Writing exercises and alphabetical practice in list format with a wide a variety of subject matter. The student practiced Hebrew letters, Jewish legal formularies, and on one occasion wrote out the entire Coptic cursive alphabet (verso). The Hebrew (i.e. Rashi) paleography helps to estimate the dating of this document as fifteenth- to seventeenth-century. At least one person is named in the legal formularies: (recto) Avraham b. Ḥajjī Maṣrātī (this is an uncommon name that may make it possible to offer a clear dating estimate through further research). MCD.
