Description

Fiscal document (account? in table form) with very wide line spacing, in a chancery/fiscal hand. Appears to list at least 12 towns in the upper eastern Nile Delta (some include Bilbays, al-Ghaffariyya, al-Hissa, Tuhiriyya, Dahamsha, Selmant, al-Shobra) along with sums (revenues?) in round dinar figures. Reused on recto and verso by Efrayim b. Shemarya for a letter. Very large nearly square sheet (43 x 46 cm).
