Description

Verso: "It seems a boy made a joke. He began a marriage contract for ʿOvadya b. Aharon he-Ḥaver ba-Sanhedrin Gedola and ended with a Mi Sheberakh for the same." Location: New Cairo. Dated: Sunday, 4 Ṭevet 1399 Seleucid = 2 December 1087 CE (but this is problematic, because that date was a Thursday, not a Sunday). (Information in part from Goitein's index card.)
