Description
Ayyubid era receipt, contains the glyph which may mean a "basmala" here. Mentions "min māl al-dīwān". Needs examination. Verso: Document in a different hand in a large cursive script. The second line reads as "min mālihā (?) li-thalāt wa-sitt miya". "Risāla" on third line. The numbers towards the end reads as 578 and some fraction preceded by "al-jumla". Both documents seem to be related because the date on recto is 602 and 603 on verso, and payments in both instances are from al-Musāʿid b. […] Ibn al-Dajājī al-Naqlī. However, the object of payment remains a question. Merits further examination. (YU, ASE).
