Description

Fragment of a letter from a certain Abū ʿAlī. In Judaeo-Arabic, headed by Hebrew verses. Dating: Likely 12th or 13th century. Only the beginning of the letter is preserved on verso (the front) and only the end of the letter is preserved on recto (the back). The sender apologizes for the inadequacy of the letter. Written on the 6th of the ʿOmer. None of the letter's substance is preserved. AA
