Description

Damaged legal document written by Halfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (fl. 1100–1138 CE). Someone is granted the right to extract payment from a debtor "by any means he sees fit including tarsīm against him by way of a qāḍī, until he sells the shop. . . ." Mentions a Muslim legal deed, a sum of 12 dinars, of which only 10 were specified in the Muslim legal deed, and 2 dinars are still outstanding. Mentions the names Abū ʿAlī Yefet and Abū l-Ḥasan. T-S AS 153.73 (PGPID 16645) and T-S NS 190.107 (PGPID 23844) may join.
