Description

Recto with address on verso (secondary use): Letter probably in the hand of of Abū Zikrī b. Eliyyahu. Opens with expressions of longing. Then conveys news about the illness of "the old woman" (al-ʿajūz): [לא] תסאל מא נחן פיה מן אלם אלקלב מן קליוב(?) . . . . צגארה ובעיד . . . ואן [אל]עגוז מריצה והי פי מרצהא . . . . תכסר . . מן אלבכא פאל . . . . Verso (original use): beginning of a 13th c. letter addressed to the physician Abū Zikrī, son of Eliyyahu the judge. (Information in part from CUDL)
