Letter: ENA NS 2.22

Letter ENA NS 2.22

Description

Recto (probably secondary use): Mercantile letter, possibly from Isḥāq b. I[brāhīm?] b. Isḥāq to Abū Isḥāq Avraham b. Yosef(?) al-[...]nī. In Judaeo-Arabic, in a large Maghribī hand. The address (in the bottom margin) is barely legible. It would normally be written on verso, except that in this case verso was probably already occupied. Almost entirely concerned with trade in silk. Mentions Alexandria. Merits further examination.
