Description

Recto: Letter fragment in Arabic script. Mentions people such as Muhannā and his brother, and Yūsuf. The sender then gives an account of his travels: "we ended up in al-Buḥayra and we stayed. . . I set out to the salty sea, and I stayed on the sands(?). . . from the hunger and thirst. . . and I do not know what the situation is. . ." (لنفوسنا فوقعنا في البحيرة فاقمنا . . . خرجت الى البحر المالح فاقمت في الرمال(؟) . . . من الجوع والعطش . . . فما اعرف ايش الحال).
