Description / Bio

Enslaved man mentioned in a letter ca. 1030 CE from Mūsā b. Yiṣḥaq b. Nissim, in al-Mahdiyya, to Ismāʿīl b. Barhūn al-Tāhartī. The enslaved man is mentioned as the ghulām of Abū al-Azhar in line 12r.
