Rāhim (Qaṣr Ibrīm)

Description / Bio

Ghulām and son of an enslaved woman (jāriya). He seems to have belonged to an eparch at Ibrīm before being trafficked, together with his mother, further north to a merchant. After his mother fell ill, their new owner sent them back to the eparch, but the messenger who accompanied them fell ill, and eventually both Rāhim and his mother died.
