(Abū ʿImrān) Moshe b. Elḥanan

Head of a congregation in Cairo; Avraham b. Natan once asked Nahray b. Nissim to secure his excommunication. Moshe traveled on at least one occasion to Yemen. He was possibly the son of Elḥanan b. Ismāʿīl al-Andalusī. (Information from Goitein and Friedman, India Traders, 292 n. 5(e).
