Description / Bio

Enslaved girl who was possibly manumitted ca. 1160 CE by Abū l-Ḥasan, son of Abū l-Faḍl Shela ha-Levi Sar ha-Leviim. The document that mentions Kashf's potential manumission is a draft of Abū l-Ḥasan's deathbed will (T-S Misc.24.137.4).
