Ḥalal (or Ḥulal)
Description / Bio
Enslaved woman mentioned in a bill of sale in which she was sold by Abū Saʿd al-Ṣayrafī to Abū l-Makārim. The latter party is buying Ḥalal or Ḥulal(?) for his sister. The enslaved woman's name is clearly rendered as חלל but it is unclear whether the scribe intended the vowel above the first letter as a fatḥa or a ḍamma.
