Description / Bio

Enslaved woman who was possibly manumitted by Abū l-Ḥasan, son of Abū l-Faḍl Shela ha-Levi Sar ha-Leviim. The document that mentions Gharaḍ's potential manumission is a draft of Abū l-Ḥasan's deathbed will (T-S Misc.24.137.4).
