Description / Bio

Enslaved woman sold by Abū l-Hasan Shelomo b. Menashshe ha-Kohen in 1133 CE, she had previously been listed in the ketubba of his wife Sitt al-Nasab bt. Abū l-Munā Yiṣḥaq. (Information from PGP and Craig Perry, Slavery and the Jews of Medieval Egypt, Appendix 1, no. 6)
