Abū l-Ṭāhir (Qaṣr Ibrīm)

Corresponded with the Nubian eparch Uruwī. Uruwī addresses the younger man with the term of endearment "my son." Abū l-Ṭāhir is possibly a Muslim merchant operating in Upper Egypt / Lower Nubia. Abū l-Ṭāhir had a companion named Ibrāhīm. His mother traveled at some point and had a lantern that was to be conveyed to Abū l-Ṭāhir.
