الوصف

Court register, fragment. Upper left corner of a legal record. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (fl. 1100-138 CE). Dating: 1127-38, based on Ḥalfon's active dates and reference to the reshut of Maṣliaḥ Gaon (r. 1127-39). Naḥman ha-Kohen sues his paternal uncle Yosef b. Moshe ha-Kohen (see T-S Misc.28.87 (PGPID 23446)) concerning the estate of Yosef's brother Avraham b. Moshe ha-Kohen, who died in Yemen and had assets in both Yemen and Egypt.
