الوصف
Deed of sale. In Arabic script. Abū l-Bayān b. Barakāt buys for his wife (name not preserved) one-half out of twenty-four shares of a house, from her brother Abū l-Faraj b. Yūsuf, in Khiṭṭat al-Rāya in the district known as Maḥbas Banāna. Most of the text preserved here is a description of the buyer. (Information from Goitein’s index card)

- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد [لله وحده ]
- هذا ما اشترى ابو البيان بن بركات اليهود[ي بمالها]
- وامرها من اخيها شقيقها لابويها أبي الفرج بن يوسـ[ـف ]
- غضون مقرون الحاجبين اشهل العينين اقنا الا[نف ]
- الحصة التي مبلغها نصف سهم من اربعة وعـ[ـشرين سهما ]
- الذى ذكر هذا البائع أن هذه الحصة منها لـ[ـه ]
- من ملكه الى مليك ] شقيقته هذه المشتر[ية ]
- بالراية في الحارة [الـ]ـمعروفة بمحبس بنانة داخلـ[ـل ]
