الوصف

Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Dated: first decade of Ḥeshvan 1445 Seleucid = October 1133 CE, under the authority of Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon. Abū l-Hasan Shelomo b. Menashshe ha-Kohen gifts a new enslaved woman, Rahaj, to his wife Sitt al-Nasab bt. Abū l-Munā Yiṣḥaq after selling the enslaved woman, ʿAlam, who was part of the wife's ketubba. Signed by Ḥalfon b. Menashshe as well as Natan b. Shelomo ha-Kohen. (Information mainly from Goitein's index card and Weiss's dissertation.)
