الوصف

Fragment of a legal testimony. Written in an early square hand. Location: Unknown. Dated: 4761–68 AM = 999–1008 CE (it cannot be 4716 AM or 4769 AM because those would be inconsistent with [13]1[.] Seleucid). The document concerns a certain Shemuel and Shelomo and refers to a cousin, but little of the text remains. Verso contains a list of names, all written in the same hand: Eliyya ha-Kohen; Menaḥem b. Meʾir; Shemarya b. Shabbetay ha-Parnas; Eliyya b. Shabbetay רבילן(?); Shabbetay b. [...];and Shabbetay b. Yehuda. Hebrew jottings have been added in a different hand and ink. (Information in part from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
