الوصف

Draft for a document of appointment for a synagogue beadle. In Judaeo-Arabic. Location: somewhere near Fustat. Dated: "such-and-such month" of the year 15[..] Seleucid = 1188–1288 CE. (An earlier description on PGP gave the date range as 1095–1159, but it is not clear why.) This document was translated by Goitein, Sidre Hinukh, p. 188.
