Kashrut certification document in Hebrew. Dated 25 Tammuz 5524 AM (1765 CE). Location: issued in Carpentras, France (קארפינטראץ). The signatures of two kosher butchers appear at the bottom of the document: Avraham _osa[?] Leon and Yahuda Leon. The document was written over a grid on the recto and the verso's textute confirms that this is vellum rather than paper. Requires further examination. MCD.
