الوصف

Internal Fatimid state correspondence concerning the collection and transfer of funds, probably tax-related. The upper left is missing, so the content is difficult to reconstruct. The legible portions read: "I say. . . from the government official in the. . . the amount of the receipt that was sent. . . Jumādā I and Jumādā II of the year 4[.]4. . . [was] one dinar and 2/3 dinar. . . this reached [...] the government official from it. . . collected. . . I wrote this signature/document of mine in Shaʿbān of the aforementioned year." The partial date corresponds to the range 1023–1101 CE.
