الوصف

Two legal documents in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (active 1100–38 CE). Verso: end of a court record regarding the marriage of Qaraite woman and a Rabbanite groom (perhaps the couple on recto?). The wife agrees not to force her husband to eat meat other than that slaughtered according to Rabbanite tradition, and to allow him to keep Rabbanite festivals. It is signed by the cantor ʿEli b. Yeḥezqel ha-Kohen he-Ḥaver in the [Great Sanhedrin]. (Information in part from CUDL.)
