Official correspondence in Arabic script. The address lists Muḥammad Effendi as the recipient and the opening line of the document mentions Aḥmad Effendi. Mentions "al-majlis al-ʿālī", 300 Kurus and has a seal at the bottom. Needs examination. Verso contains a document in a similar hand but the ink has faded. Mentions "dīwān al-mabīʿāt" and is dated Shawwāl 1246. Also mentions several sums of money in Kurus. Seal at the bottom.
