Tax receipt issued to Abū l-Ḥasan b. Wahb for his ḍamān on dyeing in Madīnat al-Fayyūm. Dated: 25 Ramaḍān 405. Amount of payment: one-half dīnār. Payment made under the supervision of three officials: (1) the auspicious, rightly guided qāḍī Thiqat al-Mulk Makīn al-Dawla wa-Amīnuhā, protégé of the Commander of the Faithful, Abū l-Ḥasan ʿAlī b. Nahār; (2) (in) the presence of the fiduciary qāḍī Abū ʿAlī l-Ḥasan b. Yaḥyā b. Nahār on his behalf; (3) (under) the tax accounting of the elder Sadīd al-Dawla Abū l-Faraj ʿAbd al-Masīḥ b. Qūrīl. Measurements: 15.2 × 8.4 cm.
