  1.  بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
  2. مبلغ ما قبضوه الضمنا من القصب برسم النصب
  3. من الضرائب [vacat] اربعة وخمسين ضريبة وسدس
  4. قـ[ـبض] ثمنها حسابا عن كل ضريبة خمسة وثلثين دينار
  5. الف وثمان مائة وستة وتسعين دينارا 
  6. والمتحصل منها اذا اعتملت في اليد عن كل 
  7. ضريبة خمس قناطير ونصف وربع سكر احمر
  8. قيمها خمسة وخمسين دينارا يخرج منها حق
  9. الاعتمال في اليد ودار السكر خمسة دنانير

Recto

  1. In the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate.
  2. The amount of ḍarības of sugarcane that the warrantors have collected with regard to the plants: 
  3. Fifty-four ḍarības and one sixth.
  4. The monetary value of each ḍarība that they have collected is 35 dīnārs
  5. Giving a total of 1,896 dīnārs.
  6. The amount it yields if the plants are cultivated, from each 
  7. ḍarība, is 5 qinṭārs, a half and a quarter of “red” (raw) sugar,
  8. the price of which is 55 dīnārs, from which there is subtracted the price
  9. of working it by hand, and (for) the press, 5 dīnārs.
