Qaraite partnership agreement in cheese producing. Dated: Friday, 12 Tishrei 5350 AM (1901 Seleucid) = 22 September 1589 CE. There are five parties: (1) ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Yaḥyā; (2) his brother's son Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Karīm Miʿmār; (3) his brother Naṣrallāh; (4) his brother Yaʿqūb; (5) Dāʾūd b. Shemuel Kohen Shuqayr (cf. Yevr.-Arab. II 1418). Their division of labor is described in detail, providing useful information about the different roles and tasks in the making and selling of cheese. On recto there is a piyyuṭ by Shelomo Yerushalmi.
