Engagement (shiddukhin) contract. Fragment (upper left corner). In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe, Dated: 1435 Seleucid = 1123/24 CE. The delayed marriage payment is 50 dinars. Groom: Yefet. Bride: Sitt al-Naẓar. There is an agent named Abū l-Khayr b. Ṣedaqa. Other names mentioned (these might be parts of the names of the couple): Abū [...] b. Mevorakh and [...] b. ʿOvadya.
