Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. Location: Fustat. Dated: Monday, 18 Adar II 1436 Seleucid = 24 March 1125 CE. No signatures. Involves Abū l-[...] Netanʾel b. Tamīm the physician (ha-Rofeʾ), Abū l-Faḍāʾil ʿOvadya b. Shemuel known as Ibn Baqāʾ, and [...] Ibn al-Baghdādī. The kunyas of Netanʾel and Ibn al-Baghdādī may be Abū l-ʿAlāʾ and Abū ʿUmar respectively. The case concerns a bundle (ruzma) of stalks of bamboo (khayzurān), which was supposed to be sold on behalf of one of the parties in al-Mahdiyya.
