الوصف

Letter in Judaeo-Arabic - from the end of the 12th or first half of 13th century. Mentions "Sayyidnā may he live forever," which may be a reference to Avraham Maimonides. Concerning a debt of 100 dirhams to be collected from Muʿammar. Sayyidnā has said that Muʿammar has great 'manliness' (muruwwa). A small note at the bottom reveals that a certain Ḥalfon acted as scribe for the sender of the letter. On the back are crude writing of biblical passages.
