Description

Petition, or petition-like letter. From a woman ("al-mamlūka"). Very damaged; unclear if any of the substance of the request is preserved. She mentions her occupation with housework "shugl al-bayt" and her longing for a position(?) "fahiya tashtahyī al-sharaf". She expects a straightforward answer to her request by either a yes or a no "immā naʿm wa-immā lā".
